Enrichment and Super-Curricular
Beyond our curriculum, we have an exciting enrichment programme for students to explore. We value students developing their interests outside the classroom and every Wednesday afternoon is protected enrichment time for all students.
We aim to develop intellectually curious young adults who are prepared to play a full, active and positive role in society. We firmly believe that memories are made and characters developed beyond the classroom.
Our provision is always evolving but the information below gives you a snapshot of what is on offer at Romero’s.
We will offer a wide programme of academic, sporting, and arts opportunities including the Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold Award and a Sixth Form-only Mountain Challenge in Morocco, North Africa. We will also be offering a ‘Getting to Oxbridge’ pathway and the ‘Romero Medics’, alongside a range of STEM-based national competitions and projects.

Student Leadership and Service
It is important that our Sixth Form students feel part of the school community and are given opportunities to develop their leadership skills. All students will have the opportunity to volunteer, both within the school by mentoring a younger student, or within the local community or by leading whole school charity events.
Other leadership opportunities include: Sixth Form Committee including the roles of Head Boy/Girl, Deputies etc; House Captains, and Sports Leaders where Sixth Formers lead and coach sports teams for younger students.
